    Battery Tips

    • New ACER BTP-42C1batteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. We generally recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Refer to the user's manual for charging instructions. Rechargeable ACER BTP-42C1 batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - two to four times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity.
    • Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the ACER BTP-42C1 batteries.
    • It is normal to get warm when charging or normal use the ACER BTP-42C1 batteries. If it is getting too hot, there may be a problem with the device and qualified personnel should check it.
    • If you don't plan on using the replacement BTP-42C1 battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects.
    • To get maximum performance from the ACER BTP-42C1 batteries, fully optimize the notebooks power management features prior to use.
