    Battery Tips

    • New ADVENT UN340S8batteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. We generally recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Refer to the user's manual for charging instructions. Rechargeable ADVENT UN340S8 batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - two to four times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity.
    • Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the ADVENT UN340S8 batteries.
    • It is normal to get warm when charging or normal use the ADVENT UN340S8 batteries. If it is getting too hot, there may be a problem with the device and qualified personnel should check it.
    • If you don't plan on using the replacement UN340S8 battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects.
