New BENQ LIP8157IVPTbatteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. We generally recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Refer to the user's manual for charging instructions. Rechargeable BENQ LIP8157IVPT batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - two to four times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity.
Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the BENQ LIP8157IVPT batteries.
