    Battery Tips

    • New COMPAQ PB995Abatteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. We generally recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Refer to the user's manual for charging instructions. Rechargeable COMPAQ PB995A batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - two to four times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity.
    • Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the COMPAQ PB995A batteries.
    • It is normal to get warm when charging or normal use the COMPAQ PB995A batteries. If it is getting too hot, there may be a problem with the device and qualified personnel should check it.
