    Battery Tips

    • New LENOVO 6cellbatteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. We generally recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Refer to the user's manual for charging instructions. Rechargeable LENOVO 6cell batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - two to four times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity.
    • Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the LENOVO 6cell batteries.
    • It is normal to get warm when charging or normal use the LENOVO 6cell batteries. If it is getting too hot, there may be a problem with the device and qualified personnel should check it.
    • If you don't plan on using the replacement 6cell battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects.
    • To get maximum performance from the LENOVO 6cell batteries, fully optimize the notebooks power management features prior to use.
