Battery Tips
- New SONY PCGA-BP3Tbatteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. We generally recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Refer to the user's manual for charging instructions. Rechargeable SONY PCGA-BP3T batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - two to four times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity.
- Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the SONY PCGA-BP3T batteries.
- It is normal to get warm when charging or normal use the SONY PCGA-BP3T batteries. If it is getting too hot, there may be a problem with the device and qualified personnel should check it.
- If you don't plan on using the replacement PCGA-BP3T battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects.
- To get maximum performance from the SONY PCGA-BP3T batteries, fully optimize the notebooks power management features prior to use.
