    Battery Tips

    • New TOSHIBA PA3383batteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. We generally recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Refer to the user's manual for charging instructions. Rechargeable TOSHIBA PA3383 batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - two to four times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity.
    • Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the TOSHIBA PA3383 batteries.
    • It is normal to get warm when charging or normal use the TOSHIBA PA3383 batteries. If it is getting too hot, there may be a problem with the device and qualified personnel should check it.
    • If you don't plan on using the replacement PA3383 battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects.
    • To get maximum performance from the TOSHIBA PA3383 batteries, fully optimize the notebooks power management features prior to use.
